Highly recommended! The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They took great care of us! The diving experience was wonderful; the sea is teeming with life! We're looking forward to doing more dives with them!
Great dive experience at Aliwal Shoal with ScubaCo. Our guide Steven took us on a double-tank dive to Raggies Cave, Northern Sands, Chunnel and Junction. We saw a lot of Ragged Tooth Sharks, white tip sharks, octopuses, turtles, moray eels and a school of eagle rays.
The operation with ScubaCo was professional, safe and well-organized. The rental equipment was in very good condition. On the boat, we were offered hot chocolate and fresh fruit between dives. We will definitely dive with them again on our next trip to Aliwal Shoal.
Second time diving with Tam and the team, will forever be my favorite dive company. The patience and customer service from the team is beyond exceptional. Love it everytime
Great experience! One of the best spots! We had a lovely week with one of the best dives ever! The staff was amazing and very professional! Tamara/Abbie thanks for the facilities. Jeff, the captain, taking care and helping with everything thank you!. Nic and Stephen, great guides, I have no words to thank you the fantastic week we had. You let us be part of you family. Hoping to see you very soon guys!!! The photos are from Stephen, our guide!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic diving experience!
We went diving with Scubaco Diving Center today and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The whole team was incredibly friendly, professional and well organized. We felt completely comfortable and safe at all times. Everything was explained clearly, the equipment was well prepared, and you could immediately tell that the team is highly experienced and genuinely passionate about diving.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, while safety and professionalism were always the priority – exactly the combination you want from a great dive center.
We really enjoyed our dives and the entire experience with the Scubaco team. Thank you for such a great day underwater!
Highly recommended – we would definitely dive with Scubaco again! 🤿🌊
Had an absolutely unforgettable experience diving with ScubaCo in Alwol Shoal.
Very talented dive masters and well kept centre.
Grateful for the hilarious and fun team that made the time i spent with them beyond remarkable, definitely keen to return soon!
Absolutely great experience on Sardine Run with Scubaco and Tamara. Small groups with attention to personalized service. Customer service is A+. Our skipper Ashlee and DM, Stephen were the best. You won’t be disappointed choosing Scubaco. I’m looking forward to a return trip to SA and diving with them at Aliwal Shoal. Tamara, the owner, goes above and beyond.
I had the most incredible dives with Scuba.co Diving
Everything is so well organized and easy-going. The team, led by Tamara, is super professional and knowledgeable while still making the whole experience fun and relaxed. It's exactly my kind of dive center, with a family atmosphere where the owner takes the time to chat with guests and make everyone feel welcome.
The delicious muffins between dives and the great music create a little celebration while they change the cylinders for us, that and add to the overall experience.
The diving itself was absolutely mind-blowing. We saw an incredible variety of rays, including eagle rays, stingrays, and ribbontail rays, which seemed to be everywhere. We also encountered plenty of whitetip reef sharks and a couple of ragged-tooth sharks. The reefs were full of life, with countless fish species around every corner.
To top off an already perfect day, a huge pod of dolphins appeared and left everyone completely amazed.
I can't recommend enough Scuba.co to anyone wanting to dive Aliwal Shoal. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to come back soon!
Accommodation - perfect
Dive - the support and service was really great, we haven't dived in a while and the crew and the crew made us feel super chilled and safe !!
An amazing experience 🦈💫
Firstly, excellent accommodation. The people are amazing and the dive was insane 💪 highly recommended.
I booked Shark Week with Scubaco and it was a truly fantastic experience. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and I immediately felt at ease.
The diving was simply amazing and a real highlight of my trip. Everything was perfectly organized.

Amazing double dives this morning with the Scubaco team!! Sharks, rays, and turtles were all there 🎉🤩 We 100% recommend them!
Thanks everyone for this wonderful morning 😁
I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying and diving with ScubaCo! The team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The diving itself was exceptional, and everything was well-organized, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
The rooms were comfortable, clean, and a perfect place to relax after a day out on the water. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I would highly recommend ScubaCo to anyone looking for a great diving experience paired with excellent hospitality.
Amazing diving experience and great accomodation!
The diving with Nick and Keaton was really good. Lots of sharks, nudibranches, lobster, potato bass... And then Tamara, Abby and the rest of the team are doing a great job with Scubaco. I even had a small personal issue and the helped since second 0, which is very much appreciated when you are far away from home.
The accomodation they provide is superb, and right on the scuba center.
Small, familiar, 5-stars dive center. I will go back to Aliwal Shoal and I will go back to Scubaco again for sure!
I had an amazing time at ScubaCo, I did 4 dives with them among which a baited shark dive and all of them were just wonderful. The DM’s are very experienced and everything felt very well arranged. Abby and Tam have been really helpful with arranging everything and even got me concert tickets for a local band. Great experience all together and highly recommended!
We had a fantastic experience with Tamara, Abby, and everyone involved. Tamara won us over months in advance with her kindness and attentiveness; that was the reason we chose them for our long-dreamed-of dive. She answered all of our questions (and there were many) throughout the months leading up to the dive date. The place felt like home — we were warmly welcomed and very well taken care of.
As for the dive itself, Abby guided us masterfully, always very patient, giving clear guidance and constantly attentive to our needs. We returned to Brazil with big smiles on our faces, very happy and hopeful to come back many more times. We will recommend them to everyone who wants to have an incredible diving experience in South Africa. Greetings from Brazil!
Had an absolutely awesome experience with ScubaCo. Very experienced skipper and team. Tamara, Abbie and Daanie were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and professional dive guides. The gear was in good condition and the boat was spacious with good windbreakers for the cold. We even got to swim with dolphins on the surface interval! I would recommend.
We came to ScubaCo Diving for two days. The most beautiful dive of my life. Top team. We have to come back 😁🙏👍😉
So much fun! Small groups and personalized care. Comfortable and well managed.
Will definitely join the again 🫶🏼
Great welcome from the whole team! The diving course the day before got us back into the swing of things, and we continued with two superb dives, surrounded by an ultra-professional team. We came across lots of marine life, it was magical. Honestly, I recommend 1000%!

It was absolutely fantastic, the club is great, it's everything we love with a relaxed family atmosphere as well as a complete feeling of security on the boat and underwater.

A truly unique feeling like at home ScubaCo dive centre, brilliantly described by Adele & Jorick most recent reviews (Best diving buddies ever!! 🙂 Super friendly and very well organised, the team takes safety as high priority in a clear, relaxed and professional manner. I've been to many dive centers around the world and ScubaCo is the best dive center I've ever been to. By far !
Among the 8 dives we booked, 5 were canceled due to bad conditions and they kept on trying finding solutions and entertain us when dives were canceled. They even took time to bring us to the crocs farm 10 min away.
Staff really considers you as a member of the family. Every morning, you get a warm welcome from all the staff and Tamara"s family (even from the young Justin and the 3 adorable doggys). You really feel like home ! Everyone (Staff and customers) often go and have drinks together talking about sharks, dives and sharks again...
All my warm thanks to all Tamara's adorable family and to the Staff ! You guys were so nice !
Response from the owner
Dear Jorick, thank you so much for your review of your short time with us. It warms my heart knowing that you were so happy and part of our ever growing family. Safe Travel and hope that we see you again in the future.

I'm not one to leave Google reviews, but this time I feel obliged to take up my pen because this dive center really deserves to be highlighted. Used to going to different centers, I can say that this one is really special. The family atmosphere is incomparable, you immediately feel comfortable and welcome.
The team is top notch, passionate, professional and always ready to help. Even when the weather conditions were not optimal for diving, their commitment and warm welcome more than made up for it. You really feel like a member of the family during your stay.
A big congratulations to the whole team, and special mention to the youngest, 2.5 years old, who actively participates in the life of the center, it's adorable! And how can you not fall under the spell of Kiki, the four-legged mascot, one of the family's three dogs?
I highly recommend this center to all diving lovers, you will not be disappointed!
Response from the owner
Dear Adele, You review warms my heart, thank you so much for these kind words and I am so happy that you had such a great time with us. I will give Kiki a shout out and lots of cuddles from you! Thank you again and hopefully next time you are back we will get some more dives in.

Big shoutout to ScubaCo for quickly helping us out! Tamara recommended a trip less windy, and after a quick Google search, we requested a booking for the very next day – and they made it happen! The whole crew felt like family – super friendly, super knowledgeable, and pros. The skipper, the dive instructors, and the rest of the crew were all amazing. Despite being surrounded by sharks, we felt as safe. Thanks for the awesome trip on such short notice! We’ll definitely be back and sending everyone we know your way
