Do I need my own gear?
No. For all beginner and intermediate courses, full equipment rental is included in the price.
How long does the Open Water course take?
Typically 3-4 days, but we can adjust the schedule to suit your comfort level.
Is it safe to learn to dive on Aliwal Shoal?
Yes. While the Shoal has currents, learning here produces excellent divers. We choose specific, protected sites for training dives to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
What do you need to get started?
In order to get started on your new adventure you will firstly need to choose your course. Get in touch with us and we can send you some more details if needed. Make sure that you go through the medical form. Should you answer yes to any question on the medical form you will need to see a doctor in order to get clearance to scuba dive. Should nothing apply to you then you are all set to start your studies online. After your studies are complete you will be able to get into the water. Once you book your course the medical will be sent to you, should you wish to go through it in advance please ask Tamara.
